Supply Chain Operations Expert

Job Overview:

The Supply Chain Operations Expert will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of procurement and supply chain activities for marine and oil & gas projects. Working closely with senior stakeholders, the expert will assist in developing and executing procurement strategies aligned with project objectives, coordinating sourcing activities, supporting negotiations with suppliers, and administering supplier contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Procurement Support:
    • Develop and execute procurement strategies to meet project objectives.
    • Coordinate sourcing activities, including RFQs, bid evaluation, and vendor selection.
    • Support negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions.
  • Contract & Compliance:
    • Assist in drafting, reviewing, and administering supplier contracts.
    • Monitor compliance with contractual terms, delivery schedules, and quality standards.
    • Maintain accurate documentation for audit and reporting purposes.
  • Logistics & Project Coordination:
    • Coordinate logistics, shipping, and material delivery to project sites.
    • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure timely supply of equipment and services.
    • Contribute to risk mitigation by identifying supply chain bottlenecks and proposing solutions.

Requirements:

  • Degree/Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, Or Contract Management, preferably within the Marine and Oil & Gas industries.
  • Solid understanding of international procurement, incoterms, and logistics.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Office; ERP or supply chain management systems is an advantage.
  • Professional certifications in supply chain (e.g., CIPS, CSCP) are an advantage.
  • Familiarity with project-based procurement in offshore/marine environments.
