About Our Ideal Candidate

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to join our team as a Lecturer, Centre for Teaching & Learning. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background and excellent teaching skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver and/or Facilitate Modules: We are looking for someone who can deliver high-quality modules aligned to their area of expertise in accordance with prescribed lesson plans and learning outcomes.
  • Coordinate Assessments and Moderation: The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating with Heads of Programme, Module Leaders, and/or associates on assessments, moderation, and examinations.
  • Monitor Student Performance: We need someone who can monitor student performance and provide academic advisement and progression counselling.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Academic Education: A Master's degree in one of the disciplines within the department is required. A Doctorate would be an added advantage.
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of relevant work and teaching experience in a field or discipline relevant to the department in a higher education environment is preferred.
  • Certifications and Competencies: We require competencies in pedagogy and people management, as well as demonstrated knowledge of best practices in curriculum design, adult learning principles, and effective assessment strategies.
