Job Title: Kitchen Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Kitchen Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day activities in our kitchen. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe and hygienic environment, supervising kitchen staff, and coordinating food preparation activities.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in food production, excellent leadership qualities, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. They will also be responsible for training new employees, setting production planning, and maintaining inventory levels.

To be considered for this role, applicants should have a minimum of 1-2 years' experience as a chef, preferably in a restaurant setting. Management or supervisory experience is an added advantage. The selected candidate will be passionate about food and culinary arts, with good communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise a team of kitchen staff to ensure discipline, performance assessment, and termination procedures.
  • Train new employees on job duties and enforce strict safety guidelines.
  • Set daily/weekly/monthly production planning and prepare work schedules.
  • Handle ingredient ordering for production use.
  • Maintain a safe and hygienic kitchen environment at all times.
  • Organize inventory, storage, and food supply distribution.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and hygiene standards.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1-2 years' experience as a chef, preferably in a restaurant setting.
  • Management or supervisory experience is an added advantage.
  • Good communication skills and leadership qualities.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for food and culinary arts.
