Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cost Savings Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for identifying opportunities to reduce product costs through strategic sourcing and value engineering initiatives.

Your primary focus will be on analyzing existing components and processes to identify areas where cost savings can be achieved. You will work closely with suppliers, manufacturers, and other stakeholders to develop and implement cost-saving solutions.

In addition to your technical expertise, you will also be responsible for assessing the quality, reliability, and compatibility of components, as well as evaluating design options for materials and manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to product cost savings through strategic sourcing and value engineering initiatives.">

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A degree in Electronics Engineering or a related field.">
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.">
  • Strong analysis skills and knowledge of material pricing and strategy.">
  • Experience with supplier evaluation and qualification.">
  • Proven experience in successful VA/VE proposals.">
  • Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office.">
