Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinic Assistant to join our team at KINGSWAY MEDICAL (BUKIT TIMAH) PTE. LTD. As a Clinic Assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support to our doctors and nurses. Your primary duties will include:
  • Providing receptionist duties at the front counter, ensuring efficient check-in and check-out processes for patients.
  • Preparing and dispensing medications accurately and safely.
  • Assisting doctors during consultations, taking notes and preparing treatment plans as needed.
  • Ensuring accuracy of clinical data entry into our computer system, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
  • Preparing submissions for corporate and government claims, verifying documentation and ensuring timely processing.
  • Handling all transactions, including payments and ensuring proper documentation, maintaining financial records and reconciliations.
  • Performing basic tests on patients, such as administering urine tests, under the supervision of licensed healthcare professionals.
  • Prompting for low stock medications and supplies, maintaining inventory levels and ordering replacements as needed.
  • Maintaining the physical facility of the clinic, ensuring cleanliness and organization, and performing minor repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • Maintaining filing systems, coordinating appointments, and performing other administrative duties as assigned.

  • Able to multitask, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Literacy and communication skills, with the ability to understand and follow written instructions.
  • Housekeeping and cleaning skills, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
  • Treatment and nursing skills, understanding medical terminology and procedures.
  • Inventory management skills, tracking and ordering supplies as needed.
  • Healthcare knowledge, understanding medical concepts and practices.
  • Data entry skills, accurately entering patient information and medical data.
  • Cashiering and customer service skills, handling transactions and providing excellent patient care.
  • Nursing skills, assisting with basic patient care and first aid.
  • Team player, working collaboratively with healthcare professionals and supporting colleagues.
  • Customer service skills, providing exceptional patient care and support.
  • Scheduling skills, coordinating appointments and maintaining schedules.
