A Cloud Infrastructure Specialist is required to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in AWS and hybrid cloud environments. This role involves monitoring, maintaining, and optimizing cloud systems for seamless deployment and operational support.

You will work with a dynamic team to implement and support mission-critical cloud infrastructure while ensuring service levels and compliance standards.

  • Responsibilities include managing and optimizing cloud and hybrid cloud systems, participating in cloud security initiatives, and adhering to ITSM/ITIL practices in day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing and optimizing cloud and hybrid cloud systems, with a focus on monitoring and supporting infrastructure.
  • Participate in cloud security initiatives and adhere to ITSM/ITIL practices in day-to-day operations.
  • Oversee code deployments and implement environment sizing changes in a controlled, auditable manner.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.
  • Support and troubleshoot containerized applications using Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Provide backend infrastructure support for operating systems including appliances, Unix, and Microsoft platforms.
  • Monitor, manage, and maintain cloud infrastructure while collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve IT issues.
  • Investigate incident root causes and recommend preventative actions to reduce recurrence and improve service reliability.
  • Offer after-hours support as required, including 24/7 standby and BAU routine weekend activities.
  • Maintain AWS infrastructure by managing notifications, conducting maintenance, performing upgrades, patching services (e.g., RDS, ECS, Direct Connect, EC2, ECR, EKS), and handling certificates and keys.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology /Computer science/ Computer Engineering or related certifications.
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in AWS operations and support.
  • AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner with solid exposure to cloud computing, microservices, and event-driven architecture.
  • Proficient in managing digital certificates and related security practices.
  • Solid understanding of cloud security and remediation practices.
  • Familiarity with AWS and ServiceNow monitoring and management tools.
  • Strong foundation in computer networking, including WAN, LAN, network zoning, routing, firewalls, VPNs, load balancing, and resiliency.
  • Basic administration knowledge of databases such as MySQL, MSSQL, Postgres, DynamoDB, MongoDB, and ElasticSearch will be advantageous.
  • Experienced in EKS and ECS will be advantageous.
