Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in cloud platforms such as Azure, including hands-on experience in deploying and managing infrastructure and services. ">
  • Hands-on experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, including deployment and management of containerized applications in cloud environments. ">
  • Experience in setting up monitoring and alerting for databases to track performance metrics, identify potential issues, and optimize database configurations for efficiency and cost-effectiveness. ">
  • Extensive experience in supporting, troubleshooting, and optimising cloud-based application services, with a strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, logging systems, performance monitoring, and common application stack issues. ">
  • Strong understanding of networking principles, security best practices, and experience in implementing secure and resilient network architectures in the cloud. ">
  • Experience in implementing backup and recovery strategies for cloud-based databases, including scheduling regular backups, testing recovery procedures, and implementing backup retention policies. ">
  • Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, PowerShell, or Bash for automating tasks and managing cloud resources, including database and backup configurations. ">
  • Familiarity with cloud cost management and optimization practices to ensure cost-effective use of cloud resources, including databases and backups. ">
