As a Silicone Sculpture Artist, you will specialize in crafting exquisite sculptures using silicone-based materials, pushing the boundaries of artistic expression and innovation.

Your role involves creating a diverse range of sculptures, from lifelike human figures to utilizing your creativity, technical skills, and attention to detail to produce captivating pieces of art.


Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with clients, art directors, or independently conceptualize ideas for sculptures, considering themes, styles, and desired visual impact

Choose appropriate silicone-based materials, tools, and techniques based on the project requirements, ensuring compatibility with the desired finish and durability

Utilize sculpting techniques to shape, mold, and sculpt silicone into various forms, ranging from intricate details to larger-scale structures

Add texture, fine details, and surface finishes to sculptures to enhance realism, depth, and visual appeal, employing techniques such as painting, airbrushing, and hand-finishing

Explore new techniques, materials, and processes to push the boundaries of silicone sculpture artistry, experimenting with unconventional approaches and incorporating innovative elements into your work

Conduct thorough quality checks throughout the sculpting process, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and adherence to client specifications and artistic standards

Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively, coordinating with clients, suppliers, and collaborators to ensure timely delivery and successful execution of projects

Maintain detailed records of projects, including sketches, progress photos, and final outcomes, for portfolio development, marketing purposes, and future reference

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor/Master of Fine Arts
  • Demonstrated proficiency in artistic expression, creativity, and visual storytelling, with a strong portfolio showcasing your sculpting skills and creative vision
  • Proficiency in silicone sculpting techniques, including molding, casting, and finishing, as well as knowledge of relevant tools, materials, and safety protocols
  • Keen eye for detail, proportion, and anatomy, allowing you to create lifelike and visually compelling sculptures that evoke emotion and captivate audiences
  • Ability to think outside the box, innovate, and experiment with new ideas, techniques, and concepts to push the boundaries of silicone sculpture artistry
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and visual, to effectively convey ideas, collaborate with clients and colleagues, and translate client visions into tangible sculptures
  • Ability to adapt to changing project requirements, troubleshoot challenges, and find creative solutions to overcome obstacles encountered during the sculpting process
