Culinary Manager Job Description

As a seasoned culinary professional, we are seeking an exceptional Culinary Manager to lead our kitchen operations at Fish Co Restaurants Pte Ltd.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of our kitchen, ensuring high-quality food products are consistently delivered.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in restaurant management, preferably with a focus on culinary arts. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise a team of kitchen staff, including matters such as discipline, termination, and assessment of their performance.
  • Train new employees on job tasks and enforce strict safety guidelines.
  • Set daily/weekly/monthly production planning and prepare work schedules.
  • Handle ordering of ingredients for production usage.
  • Maintain the kitchen's cleanliness and hygiene standards at all times.
  • Organize inventory, storage, and distribution of food supplies.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and hygiene standards at all times.
  • Assist the Kitchen Manager in all other operations as required.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1-2 years' experience as a chef, preferably in a restaurant setting.
  • Management or supervisory experience is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communicator with strong leadership qualities.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for food and culinary arts.
