Plumber Job Description

The role of a plumber involves performing a variety of tasks related to the installation, maintenance and repair of plumbing systems. This includes inspecting plumbing systems to identify issues and perform repairs or replacements as needed.

Additionally, plumbers are responsible for ensuring that all plumbing work is in compliance with safety standards and building codes. This includes regular inspections of water tanks and submission of necessary paperwork to relevant authorities.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect plumbing system and identify issue
  • Perform maintenance and inspection of water tanks in accordance with PUB requirements
  • Prepare and submit necessary plumbing work submissions to the relevant authorities as required by regulations
  • Carrying out preventive maintenance tasks on all mechanical and plumbing equipment
  • Maintain and repair the various plumbing installations properly
  • Ensure all plumbing work is in compliance with safety standards and building codes
  • Troubleshoot and resolve plumbing issues promptly and efficiently
  • Maintain accurate records of plumbing work completed, including inspections, repairs, and installations
  • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems (e.g., pipes, fixtures, fittings) in accordance with codes and safety standards
Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Valid LP license (PUB Licensed plumber)
  • Class 3 Driving License
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Physical ability to perform plumbing tasks and hands-on if necessary
