This role involves working with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to provide coordinated care. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and be able to work effectively in a team.

We are looking for a Behavior Therapist who can create and implement personalized intervention plans using evidence-based therapies. This may involve working with clients of all ages, including children and adults, to address a range of behavioral challenges.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Create and implement personalized intervention plans using evidence-based therapies.
  • Work with clients, families, and healthcare professionals for coordinated and effective care.
  • Track client progress and update intervention plans to reach desired outcomes.
  • Keep detailed and accurate records, including progress notes and treatment documentation.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to stay updated with best practices in behavior therapy.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of behavior therapy principles and techniques. You should also be able to work effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to achieve positive outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have at least a Nitec in Special Education or Education of Psychology. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are also essential for this role.

  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with autistic children/preschoolers.
  • Prior experience applying ABA principles.

Benefits

This is a permanent position with a competitive salary package. The successful candidate will also receive ongoing training and support to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in this role.

The working hours for this role are 5 days per week, Monday to Friday. The exact working hours will be discussed during the interview process.
