Job Title: Portfolio Strategist

We are seeking an experienced Portfolio Strategist to join our dynamic team and play a key role in delivering exceptional results for our clients. The successful candidate will have expertise in fund selection, daily management, and recommendations to support our Private Wealth Management business in Singapore.

About the Role:

This exciting new position involves providing expert fund portfolio management, daily monitoring, and recommendations to support our Private Wealth Management business. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for reviewing both traditional and alternative funds as well as providing ongoing support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing Relationship Managers and Investment Consultants with fund recommendations, market intelligence, monitoring, and model portfolios.
  • Providing investment advisory support and championing fund products to both local and regional sales teams.
  • Working closely with internal business units and external asset managers to deliver advisory communications and training.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree in Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of relevant working experience in fund product management, fund selection/due diligence for Mutual Funds.
  • An understanding of Hedge Funds and Private Markets is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and presentational skills, with experience in conducting product training and marketing seminars.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements.
  • Pro-active, self-starter, and goal-oriented, with strong teamwork skills such as listening, communication, and conflict management.
  • Effectively bilingual in English and Mandarin, with written communication in Traditional Chinese required.
