Business Analyst - Fund Accounting Expert

A seasoned professional is sought after to lead the implementation of fund accounting solutions in a collaborative environment.

  • Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Fund Accounting and Transfer Agent processes for system implementations, testing, and user support.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT to analyze, document, and improve fund accounting workflows and reporting logic.
  • Review and validate data stored in system tables, ensuring accurate mapping for fund reporting.
  • Write and run SQL queries to extract, validate, and troubleshoot data used in fund accounting reports.
  • Work closely with data engineering and operations teams to resolve functional issues related to fund data.
  • Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and regression testing of fund accounting modules and enhancements.
  • Provide functional documentation, including process flows, BRDs (Business Requirement Documents), and data dictionaries.

Desirable Skills:

  • Familiarity with custodian data flows, reconciliations, and trade processing.
  • Knowledge of financial instruments: equities, fixed income, derivatives, FX.
