Naval Architect Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Naval Architect to lead our team in designing and developing advanced naval vessels.

  • Main Responsibilities:
    • Analyze design specifications, safety regulations, and industry standards to prepare and review layout arrangements.
    • Conduct naval architectural calculations, hydrodynamic analysis, and stability assessments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
    • Lead a team of engineers in hull form and general arrangement development, as well as hydrodynamic and stability calculations for tenders and ongoing projects.
    • Develop technical specifications for equipment procurement and evaluate vendor bids to optimize project costs.
    • Generate project-specific documentation and drawing lists to facilitate efficient project execution.
    • Review and approve calculations, drawings, and material lists to ensure adherence to contractual and regulatory standards.
    • Oversee and verify technical information from external suppliers to ensure alignment with project requirements.
    • Provide specialized technical expertise to internal teams and external stakeholders to support project success.
    • Collaborate with ship owners, regulatory surveyors, and classification bodies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
    • Document and address all design-related issues from owners, classification societies, and flag authorities in a timely manner.
    • Participate in tests, trials, and inspections as required to validate project outcomes.
  • Key Requirements:
    • A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in engineering design within the Marine, Offshore, Oil & Gas industry, or Classification Societies.
    • A degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or Structural Engineering from a recognized university is essential.
