Operations Manager Job Description

The Operations Manager is a key member of our team, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities and ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently. This role requires a high level of organization and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Monitor employee attendance, performance, and productivity to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase productivity and efficiency.
  • Conduct research on new food products or ingredients to identify potential opportunities for growth.
  • Establish work schedules and ensure that employees are following them.
  • Monitor inventory levels and adjust purchasing decisions accordingly.
  • Determine staffing requirements based on production schedules.
  • Oversee the safety of the food preparation process by inspecting equipment and facilities.
  • Evaluate employee performance through regular assessments and meetings.
Requirements:
  • Coaching and training skills to develop staff.
  • Forecasting and budgeting skills to manage resources effectively.
  • Foot care knowledge to maintain staff well-being.
  • Budgeting and forecasting skills to manage finances.
  • Knowledge of ingredients and their uses in food preparation.
  • Food safety certification and knowledge of regulations.
  • ACCA qualification and accounting knowledge.
  • Inventory management skills to optimize stock levels.

  • Journal entry and financial statement analysis skills.
