Job Role:
">We are seeking an experienced Demi Chef to join our team in a busy kitchen environment. As a key member of the culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and executing dishes from your assigned section with precision and consistency.
">Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and execute dishes from your assigned section with precision and consistency.">
- Work directly on or around the open-fire grill, managing heat and timing for optimal flavour and texture.">
- Assist the Chef de Partie in mise en place, service and kitchen cleanliness.">
- Uphold hygiene and safety standards according to SFA and internal SOPs.">
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth kitchen workflow.">
- Participate in daily prep, service and post-service duties with a proactive and professional attitude.">
- Receive and store deliveries properly, maintaining stock rotation and quality checks.">
- Perform other tasks as required by the Head Chef or Sous Chef.">
Requirements:
">To succeed as a Demi Chef, you will need:

- Minimum 1 year's experience in a refined or upscale restaurant setting.">
- Familiarity with grilling techniques, live-fire cooking and flavour layering.">
- Basic knife skills and understanding of mise en place systems.">
