Job Title: Video Editor/Videographer

We are seeking an experienced and creative Video Editor/Videographer to join our team.

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio of work, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

  • Create original video content using Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and other Adobe Creative Suite tools.
  • Edit videos without storyboards or provide own interpretation of offline edits.
  • Export, compress, and re-format video files for various platforms.
  • Stay up-to-date with current moving image trends and contribute to creative solutions within the post-production unit.

Requirements:

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Qualifications in Media or Film from technical college/university.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience as an editor for short-form content.
  • Adeptness with CapCut, Premiere Pro, and full Adobe Creative Suite including knowledge of Final Cut Pro, Photoshop, After Effects, and Illustrator.
  • A compelling portfolio of work.
  • Understanding of encoding/transcoding, codecs, video formats, file types, frame rates, resolutions.
  • Sound knowledge of shooting on a mobile phone as well as broadcast equipment including video cameras, audio gear, and lighting.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to balance projects and priorities independently.

  • Video editing software proficiency (Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro)
  • Experience with motion graphics and composition
  • Strong understanding of storytelling principles and narrative structures
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
