We are seeking a highly skilled and creative individual to join our video team. As a content creator, you will be responsible for developing and producing compelling, unique, and bold videos that speak to youths and young adults.
The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of the digital and pop culture landscape, with a strong understanding of digital video and social media platforms.
You will work collaboratively with other producers, videographers, and editors, as well as other teams across our organization.
The role requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as good interpersonal skills to build a network of contacts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and produce engaging video content
- Develop and pitch video ideas regularly
- Manage all aspects of shoots including pre-production, production, and post-production
- Analyze audience behavior and tailor content accordingly
- Produce multimedia content packages
- Ensure all videos align with our brand standards and style
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of experience in video production or a related field
- Familiarity with DSLR/mirrorless cameras
- Proficiency with editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop)
- Resourcefulness, creativity, and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Able to work in a fast-paced digital environment
- Understanding of analytics
- Social-media savvy and plugged into the latest local and regional news cycle
- Diploma/degree in Filmmaking, Communications, or a related field
