Research Opportunities

As a key member of our research team, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects in statistical genetics.

  • Apply qualitative and quantitative research techniques to assess, interpret, and evaluate research outcomes.
  • Conduct methodology research on Bayes variable selection for statistical genetics and large-scale genetic analysis with experience in statistical software.
  • Write and review research papers, presenting research outcomes and developing connections with local and international researchers for collaboration work.
  • Evaluate and interpret collected data and prepare oral presentations or written reports/scientific manuscripts/literature for publication and analyses setting forth progress, adverse trends, and appropriate recommendations or conclusions.
  • Contribute to project management, provide guidance to junior researchers as well as undergraduate and graduate students, occasional educational/instructional activities.

Our ideal candidate will have a PhD in a related scientific area and/or post-graduate Medical Degree with at least 3 years' relevant research experience and training.

  • Demonstrated good knowledge, skills, and expertise with linear algebra, linear mixed model, variational inference, statistical computing, and deep learning is required to achieve research excellence.
  • High impact publication experimental results.
  • Knowledge of the scientific background relevant to the research area.
  • Laboratory experimental skills.
  • Strong team player skills and the ability to work harmoniously with a diverse workforce.
