Restaurant Captain Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Restaurant Captain to oversee daily operations and provide exceptional service at our restaurants in Bukit Timah and Quayside Isle.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with the Restaurant Supervisor to ensure smooth service flow and high standards of guest experience.
  • Lead a section of the restaurant floor, ensuring all guests receive attentive and friendly service.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior staff, focusing on developing their skills and promoting excellent service standards.
  • Address guest requests and minor complaints promptly, escalating larger issues when necessary.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, stations, and service areas at all times.
  • Monitor inventory levels of service items (cutlery, glassware, condiments) and inform the Supervisor of any needs.
  • Support the implementation of promotions or new service initiatives.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Captain, Senior Waiter, or in a similar role within a busy restaurant is required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead by example, are essential.
  • Strong organizational skills and multitasking abilities in fast-paced environments are also necessary.
  • A positive attitude with a strong sense of teamwork and service excellence is required.
  • A basic understanding of food safety and hygiene standards is expected.
