Job Title: Maternal Care Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Maternal Care Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to new mothers and their babies.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the cleaning, bathing, and changing of diapers
  • Help with feeding and monitoring the temperature, feeding pattern, mental/physical behavior, and other essential information about the baby
  • Monitor the baby's growing progress and provide guidance on infection control and baby safety measures
  • Assist with umbilical care, oral and eye care, and any other duties as required by the supervisor or manager
  • Support mummies in understanding and coping with postnatal conditions

Requirements:

  • Ability to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays
  • Day shift: 8am - 8:30pm
  • Night shift: 8pm - 8am, with night shift incentives
  • 1.5 hours break included in shifts
  • Possess certification in nursing care, infant care, or other relevant courses
  • Good working attitude and ability to work in a team
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills
  • Independent and resourceful
  • Willingness to learn and continuously improve
