Job Description

FOCUS
As a key member of the Nourish commercial team, you will play a pivotal role in driving Beverages and Dairy category sales and pipelines in Singapore and Malaysia, focusing on growth and new business wins. This role requires effective collaboration with the sales, customer service, category leaders, innovation creation and design (IC&D), product management, and marketing teams.

This position is Singapore based and reports directly to the Sales Leader Beverages, SEA.

HOW YOU WILL LEAD AND CONTRIBUTE

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring effective regular communication and understanding of their needs and requirements, thereby contributing to the growth, profitability, and enhancement of the IFF branding.

• Promote the Beverages and Dairy Industry SEA IFF Product portfolio to Customers, effectively communicating its value and benefits.

• Manage designated customers and partner distributors by forecasting, sampling, providing price quotations, price negotiation, following up on customer queries, and handling customer complaints in accordance with IFF's procedures, delivering exceptional customer sales service.

• Ensure project briefs and deliverables meet customer requirements and timelines, keeping both customers and the company updated on project progress related to product promotion.

• Identify new business opportunities and initiate innovation or proactive activities to create pipelines at existing and new accounts, capturing these opportunities in CRM and converting them into new sales to gain market share profitably for the company.

• Provide timely and accurate activity reports to Sales Leaders for inclusion in SEA reporting requirements, effectively measuring progress against agreed plans and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.

• Collaborate with peers and leaders to ensure personal and company sales targets and performance measures are achieved, fostering a team-based culture.

• Develop account plans with the commercial, technical, and product management teams to identify opportunities and action plans for business growth.

• Maintain customer information and database related to accounts, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.

• Partner with the operations team and customer service team to ensure customer satisfaction in terms of services and supply.

Job Requirements

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL


• Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry, Food Science, Food & Nutrition, Food Technology, or any other relevant industry.

• At least 5-8 years of experience in B2B sales and account management, preferably in the flavors industry, food ingredients, or food manufacturing.

• Ability to assimilate commercial and/or technical information and communicate effectively to both customers and/or IFF team members.

• Experience and knowledge in the Beverage and dairy industry, ideally well-connected in the industry.

• Proven track-record in account development and delivered growth in sales and pipelines.

• Demonstrated 'can-do' attitude, positive approach to problem-solving, and flexibility in prioritizing multiple tasks, with proven ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.

• Ability to work with a team from multiple functions in a B2B environment.

• Demonstrate respect for people.

• Effective communication skills in English, both verbally and written.
