Overview

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Chemistry educator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Chemistry at GCSE and A Level, as well as contributing to the development of the department.

About the Role

The Chemistry educator will be responsible for:

  • Teaching Chemistry to students at GCSE and A Level
  • Developing and delivering engaging lesson plans that cater to different learning styles
  • Maintaining accurate records of student progress and attendance
  • Collaborating with colleagues to develop curriculum resources and materials
  • Providing pastoral support to students

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor of Education or higher from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in Chemistry subjects
  • Commitment to working in an educational environment that offers academic rigour and excellence in teaching
  • Sound knowledge of curriculum pedagogy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Sensitivity toward cultural diversities
  • Ability to build community through positive interactions with parents
