Epworth HomeSweetHome is a pioneering therapeutic group home in Singapore that provides stay-in treatment for children aged 7-12 who have experienced abuse.

We utilize the Trauma System Therapy (TST) model to address complex trauma and aggressive behaviors in these vulnerable young individuals.

Job Description:
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create a safe environment for children exhibiting challenging behaviors.
  • Respond calmly and effectively to de-escalate situations involving children with difficult behaviors.
  • Maintain the physical and mental well-being of children in care, addressing their unique needs and requirements.
  • Create a positive living environment by setting clear rules and providing one-on-one coaching on daily living skills.
  • Closely monitor each resident's progress and adjust support strategies as needed.
  • Foster secure attachment bonds between children and appropriate adult caregivers.
  • Provide close supervision to ensure the children's safety and well-being.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Able to work rotating shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Experience working with children is advantageous but not essential; willingness to learn and adapt is crucial.
  • Persistent and active learner, with a non-judgmental attitude towards children from diverse backgrounds.
