About the Role
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform statutory financial reporting and analysis
  • Process accounts payable duties, ensuring timely payments to suppliers
  • Analyze monthly variances and provide insightful recommendations
  • Assist with tax calculations and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Liaise with auditors and other stakeholders to resolve any discrepancies
  • Work collaboratively with finance, treasury, operations, and traders to achieve business objectives
Requirements
  • Diploma or degree in accountancy, accounting, commerce, or ACCA
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting and accounts payable in a commodities trading environment
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
