Job Title: Senior Electrical Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced electrical maintenance specialist to join our team. As a senior member of our electrical department, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our power systems.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting routine inspections and maintenance on power system components to prevent equipment failure and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Coordinating with cross-functional teams to expedite project timelines.
  • Leading a team of electricians in performing corrective and preventive maintenance tasks.
  • Developing and implementing work completion reports to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Performing maintenance works in accordance with vessel safety requirements.
  • Conducting in-depth troubleshooting of electrical connections and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) programs.

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess:

  • A Diploma in Electrical Engineering or relevant field.
  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience in marine-related or oil and gas industry.
  • Potential for growth and development.
  • Experience working with 440V Main switchboards, distribution boards, transformers, power generators, main engines, converters, inverters, batteries, fire alarm systems, and ship control monitoring and management systems.
  • Familiarity with troubleshooting various brands of PLCs (Panasonic, Omron, Allen Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi, ABB, etc.) is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in selecting and integrating sensors, pneumatic systems, stepper and servo motors, and control systems.
  • Leadership experience in managing up to 6 men, including supervisors and technicians.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team to achieve project goals within specified timelines.
  • Comfortable with report writing and presentation.
  • Ability to work onboard vessels and at heights.
