Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing electrical systems for data centre facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform engineering tasks for the design of electrical systems for data centre facilities
  • Prepare electrical engineering calculations and deliverables in support of electrical system designs
  • Coordinate with disciplines in the preparation and development of deliverables and ensure that other disciplines' inputs are incorporated
  • Provide specialized technical input to studies and all relevant technical documentation
  • Support project on-site execution and act as electrical specialist
  • Assist in developing studies and design procedures to facilitate high-quality cost-effective work
  • Assist in the development of conceptual design, preliminary design, and final design documents which would include calculations related to sizing and selecting of these systems, the development of power diagrams, layout of electric equipment, electrical system control
  • Evaluate the technical quality and timeliness of all electrical documents and drawings on the project
  • Raise concerns and change notices for consideration
  • Organize regular electrical discipline meetings. Draft the action plan and follow up on the closure of the action plans
  • Create and write packages and scopes of work to support commercial activities
  • Support with closeout and commissioning of a project

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (or similar experience and qualification)
  • 5+ years working in electrical engineering
  • Professional registration preferred
  • Experience of working with international companies
  • LEED / BREEAM
  • Experience dealing with multi-discipline design teams
  • 2+ years' experience in Asia (NEA or SEA)
