Technical Management Expert

  • Vessel Performance Optimization: Leverage your expertise to enhance the operational efficiency and safety of bulk carriers, ensuring compliance with international regulations.
  • Leadership and Technical Direction: Provide guidance to vessel crews on technical matters, promoting a culture of excellence and safety.
  • Operational Planning: Develop and execute plans for routine and ad-hoc repairs, dry dockings, and other vessel maintenance activities.
  • Budgetary Control: Manage vessel operating expenditure budgets to optimize cost-effectiveness and financial discipline.
  • Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to flag state, class, and international standards (ISM, ISPS, IMO, SOLAS, MARPOL) and maintain high standards of quality in procurement and services.

Requirements

  • Marine Engineering or Naval Architecture Diploma.
  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience as Technical Superintendent managing bulk carriers; Chief Engineer sea-going experience preferred.
  • Possession of a valid Certificate of Competency (COC) as Chief Engineer (Class 1) or equivalent is advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of international maritime regulations, class, and flag requirements for bulk vessels.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
