We are a leading private equity firm seeking an experienced Compliance Program Director to join our team. This is a critical role that requires expertise in regulatory compliance, risk management, and leadership.

Job Overview

The Compliance Program Director will be responsible for ensuring that our company adheres to all relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards. This includes developing and implementing comprehensive compliance programs, conducting regular audits and risk assessments, and providing guidance to employees on compliance-related matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure alignment with Singapore MAS, Hong Kong SFC, and US SEC regulations, including preparing and overseeing regulatory filings, building relationships with regulatory authorities, and monitoring changes to regulatory requirements.
  • Compliance Program Development: Establish and maintain a robust compliance framework, including drafting policies and procedures, developing AML/CFT programs, conducting regular reviews and audits, and facilitating employee training.
  • Fund-Specific Compliance: Ensure compliance with fund offering documents, investment mandates, and transactions, collaborate with investment teams, and support new fund launches.
  • Risk Management: Perform regular risk assessments, implement measures to mitigate compliance risks, and ensure adherence to global best practices while maintaining regional regulatory alignment.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • A minimum of 7-10 years of compliance experience, preferably in private equity, asset management, or the broader financial services industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of Singapore MAS regulations; familiarity with Hong Kong SFC and US SEC regulations is highly desirable.
  • Professional certifications such as ICA, ACAMS, or other AML/CFT qualifications are advantageous.
  • Strong expertise in regulatory compliance, AML/KYC, and cross-border fund compliance.
  • Proven ability to design and implement compliance programs in growing organizations.
  • Experience managing relationships with regulators and external compliance partners.
