Geotechnical Engineer Position

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Geotechnical Engineer to join our team. We are looking for a talented professional who can lead civil engineering projects and perform analysis and detailed design of civil, structural, and geotechnical works.

About the Job:

  • Coordinate civil engineering projects and utilize design software tools such as Civil 3D, InRoads, InRails, Plaxis 2D/3D, STAAD Pro, SAP2000, Robot, and more to ensure project efficiency.
  • Conduct site inspections, review instrumentation data, and monitor work performance to guarantee project success.
  • Prepare technical reports, design documentation, and submissions to local authorities in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Attend project and coordination meetings with stakeholders and clients to foster effective communication.
  • Draft tender specifications, assist in procurement, and manage construction contracts to ensure smooth project execution.

Responsibilities May Include:

  • Civil Works: Design roads, drainage systems, sewerage systems, water pipelines.
  • Structural Works: Design buildings, bridges, underground and temporary structures.
  • Geotechnical Works: Deep foundations, basement excavations, tunnels.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Structural, or Geotechnical Engineering from a recognized university.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in geotechnical and foundation design, especially for buildings and underground structures.
  • Proficiency in Plaxis 2D/3D and other engineering software is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of BCA regulations, local submission procedures, and codes of practice.
  • Previous experience with deep excavation, basement, or infrastructure projects preferred.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential.
  • Able to manage time effectively and perform under pressure in fast-paced project environments.
