Chemical Infrastructure Project Coordinator

Job Overview:

The ideal candidate will oversee the review, monitoring and periodic update of detailed work progress and on-site construction schedules with subcontractors, vendors and internal stakeholders.

Main responsibilities include working independently on assigned project tasks with the engineering team, coordinating with lower-tier subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery, optimal cost, quality and safety performance, and preparing project-related documents in accordance with project requirements.

In addition, the candidate will analyze GA drawings, schematic layouts and PFD drawings, develop isometric drawings or P&ID layouts using AutoCAD 2D software, assist the Project Manager in coordinating, monitoring and controlling projects in accordance with schedule, cost and scope baselines, and ensure adherence to quality standards and Health & Safety requirements as per client and company policies.

Required qualifications include a Diploma in Mechanical, Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent, minimum 1 year of experience in Microelectronics, Semiconductor or Cleanroom Factory Automation environments, experience in Chemical distribution systems, Waste Chemical systems or Slurry systems for Wafer fabrication is an advantage, technical knowledge of ultrapure piping/tubing components and fittings installation, and cleanroom utilities hook-up construction (Bulk & Specialty Gas, Exhaust, UPW, Drain etc.), proficiency in AutoCAD 2D drawings and Microsoft Excel for data entry and updates.
