Job Title: Campus Security Officer

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and vigilant Campus Security Officer to maintain a safe and secure environment for students, staff, and visitors. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the well-being of our community by enforcing security protocols and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain a high level of visibility and presence on campus, ensuring a safe and secure environment at all times.

  • Provide assistance and support to students, staff, and visitors, responding promptly to their queries and concerns.

  • Monitor and control access to restricted areas, issuing visitor passes and maintaining accurate records.

  • Respond to emergencies and incidents in a timely and professional manner, collaborating with other teams as needed.

  • Conduct regular patrols of the campus, identifying potential security risks and taking proactive measures to mitigate them.

  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge in security procedures, first aid, and crisis management.

  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and develop strategies to improve security outcomes.

Requirements

  • Possess a valid security license with RTT and OBSE certification.

  • Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.

  • Be physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends.
