About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Category Sourcing Manager to join our team at 3160 KLA-Tencor (Singapore). In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing category sourcing strategies that align with the company's overall business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement category sourcing strategies to drive cost savings and improve supplier performance.
  • Support the NPI team in commercial and technical sourcing, supplier relationship management, and program management of technical components, subsystems, and systems.
  • Conduct market research, identify, screen, and qualify new suppliers to meet KLA's technical and commercial roadmap.
  • Drive cost savings initiatives and support escalations.
  • Negotiate and align terms of Purchase Agreements.
  • Coordinate and lead supplier business reviews and scorecards.
  • Lead cross-functional and cross-divisional teams to ensure timely achievement of milestones, effective supplier relationship management, and business continuity through risk management.
  • Maintain a capability matrix for all key suppliers, track KPIs on supplier performance, and ensure an effective supply base is available to meet organizational needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a technical engineering field or equivalent; MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years' relevant industry experience in supply chain management and technical sourcing, with experience in category management for contract manufacturing.
  • Ability to develop and execute sourcing strategies that map to and support overall business strategies.
  • Leadership skills to manage complex supplier relationships and negotiations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to analyze large amounts of data and recommend actions or strategies.
  • Able to contribute and drive technical solutions both internally and externally.
  • Experience managing global cross-functional teams.
  • Understanding of SAP or equivalent MRP system.
  • Domestic and international travel may be required (
