Key Responsibilities
  • Packing and Preparation: Accurately pick and pack cooked food items according to order specifications, ensuring all food items are correctly labeled and packaged to maintain freshness and quality.
  • Inventory Management: Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and packing of orders, inspect packaging materials for quality and cleanliness before use, and organize and prepare orders for dispatch, ensuring they meet delivery schedules.
  • Quality Control: Maintain a clean and organized packing area in compliance with food safety standards, report any discrepancies or issues with orders to the supervisor promptly, and assist in inventory management and stock replenishment as needed.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate good communication and teamwork skills, and follow all health, safety, and hygiene regulations in the kitchen environment.
Requirements
  • Experience: Previous experience in a food handling or packing role is preferred.
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in packing orders, ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, good communication and teamwork skills, and knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
  • Certifications: Hold a food & hygiene certificate.
  • Physical Demands: Physically capable of standing for long periods and lifting heavy items when necessary.
