Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Network Engineer to join our team. As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting our telecommunications infrastructure.
Your primary focus will be on ensuring the stability and performance of our network, which is critical to delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Key responsibilities include:
- Attending to DWDM alarm activations and customer escalations;
- Performing root cause failure analysis and trouble shooting for faults and escalations;
- Coordinating with vendors and field teams to resolve issues;
- Communicating effectively with field engineers to restore faults;
- Performing regular maintenance on DWDM equipment and establishing SOPs and processes.
Additional responsibilities may include software upgrades, migrations, and other tasks assigned by the Manager.
RequirementsTo succeed in this role, you will need:
- A diploma in Telecommunication/Computer Science Engineering or Electrical/Electronics & Communications Engineering, Electronics, Info-Comm Technology;
- At least 2 years' experience in telecommunications or multimedia engineering;
- Strong IP and Linux knowledge;
- Excellent report writing skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint;
- Ability to work independently and adapt to a dynamic environment;
- Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-oriented approach.
