Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Support Engineer to join our team. As a Network Support Engineer, you will play a critical role in maintaining and supporting our core network infrastructure, ensuring the smooth operation of our business operations.

Your primary responsibility will be to provide technical support and troubleshooting services for our network infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, routers, DNS, DHCP, NTP, and TCP/IP networking. You will also be responsible for performing fault analysis, resolving issues, updating configurations, and optimizing performance.

In addition to your technical skills, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, including cloud teams, to meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with strong knowledge of cloud networking and network infrastructure
  • AWS operational experience (System Administrator or Cloud Engineer)
  • AWS certifications (Cloud Practitioner, SysOps Admin Associate, or Solutions Architect Associate) preferred
  • Advanced Networking (Specialty) is a plus
  • Hands-on knowledge of firewall, switches, routers, DNS, DHCP, NTP, TCP/IP networking
  • Certifications like CCNA, ITIL are advantageous
  • Skilled in diagnosing and troubleshooting network access issues
  • Prior experience in defence or government agencies requiring security clearance is beneficial
  • Strong communication skills—both written and verbal
