Global Freight Coordinator

Our ideal candidate is a highly motivated and customer-focused professional with excellent communication skills. In this role, you will be responsible for managing customer experiences, coordinating freight operations, and ensuring compliance with customs and company policies.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Experience Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers, providing timely updates and resolving any shipment-related issues.
- Freight Operations Coordination
- Handle end-to-end freight processes including booking, documentation, and delivery coordination.
- Documentation & Compliance Oversight
- Prepare and check shipping documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with customs and company policies.
- Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement
- Identify and address process issues, and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency and service quality.
- Commercial Support
- Assist with quotation preparation, freight rate inquiries, and support the sales team as needed.
Responsibilities Summary: Manage customer experiences, coordinate freight operations, and ensure compliance with customs and company policies.
Required Skills and QualificationsOur ideal candidate should possess a strong educational background in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field. The successful applicant will have excellent communication skills, knowledge of freight documentation, customs regulations, and industry best practices.
- Education:
- A diploma, degree, or equivalent in a relevant field is preferred.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Customer-focused with strong communication skills and a drive to improve.
- Knowledge of freight documentation, customs regulations, and industry best practices.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite; experience with freight management software is a plus.
Qualifications Summary: Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field, excellent communication skills, and knowledge of freight documentation and customs regulations.
