Strategic Enterprise Risk Manager

Shape and enhance our risk management strategy in alignment with our mission to help people make decisions easier and lives better. As a pivotal role, you will lead the Operational Risk Management Team, safeguarding our organization's integrity and ensuring compliance.

• Enterprise Risk Management:
  • Support the CRO in developing, implementing, and maintaining an effective enterprise risk management framework.
  • Support the CRO in the maintenance and update of risk management policies, processes and systems to ensure that we operate within our framework and all global risk policies.
  • Assist in identifying, assessing, and prioritizing risks across the organization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate risk management processes into organizational strategies and objectives.
• Operational Risk Management:
  • Lead and manage the Operational Risk Management Team of two to four team members.
  • Develop and execute operational risk management strategies and initiatives.
  • Monitor and assess operational risks, implementing controls to mitigate identified risks.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and reviews, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
• Executive Risk Committee Management:
  • Manage the executive risk committee, including setting agendas, preparing materials, facilitating discussions, and documenting meeting outcomes.
  • Ensure that the committee effectively addresses and prioritizes key risk issues facing the organization.
  • Collaborate with committee members to follow up on action items and decisions.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and support to the Operational Risk Management Team.
  • Foster a culture of risk awareness and continuous improvement within the team and the broader organization.
  • Mentor and develop team members, promoting their professional growth and enhancing their risk management capabilities.
• Communication:
  • Communicate risk-related information effectively to stakeholders, including regulators at all levels.
  • Facilitate training and workshops to educate employees on risk management best practices.
• Compliance and Governance:
  • Ensure adherence to relevant risk management standards, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with compliance and audit teams to address any risk management findings or recommendations.
  • Support the development and implementation of risk management policies and procedures.
• Leadership and Team Development:
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and support to the Operational Risk Management Team.
  • Foster a culture of risk awareness and continuous improvement within the team and the broader organization.
  • Mentor and develop team members, promoting their professional growth and enhancing their risk management capabilities.
• Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience, preferably in risk management or a related field.
  • Proven leadership experience with a track record of managing and developing high-performing teams.
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise and operational risk management frameworks and practices.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex risk-related information to diverse stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across functions and influence senior management and executive committees.
