Job Title: Information Security Professional

Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Information Security Professional to join our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT risk management and cybersecurity within the banking industry.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and monitoring compliance with local regulatory guidelines (e.g., MAS TRM, Cyber Hygiene) and internal policies related to IT risk and cybersecurity. This includes ensuring that internal controls and policies are robust and aligned with industry best practices.

The role also involves continuously evaluating the IT risk profile, ensuring risk mitigation activities are in line with business priorities and risk appetite. Additionally, the candidate will draft, review, and implement IT security policies and procedures that meet regulatory expectations.

Liaising with internal and external auditors, as well as regulators, is also an essential aspect of this role. The successful candidate will ensure timely closure of audit findings and prepare regular reports to senior management on IT security posture, compliance updates, and remediation progress.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Assess and monitor compliance with local regulatory guidelines and internal policies related to IT risk and cybersecurity.
  2. Continuously evaluate the IT risk profile and ensure risk mitigation activities align with business priorities and risk appetite.
  3. Draft, review, and implement IT security policies and procedures that meet regulatory expectations.
  4. Liaise with internal and external auditors and regulators to support audits, inspections, and reviews.
  5. Prepare regular reports to senior management on IT security posture, compliance updates, and remediation progress.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • Minimum 6 years' experience in IT security, IT risk management, or IT audit within the banking or financial services industry.
  • In-depth understanding of Singapore regulatory framework, including MAS TRM, Cyber Hygiene, and PDPA.
  • Professional certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CISM, or CRISC are preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across departments.
  • Sound analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of initiative and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
