The Global Tech Media & Telecom Coverage team at OCBC Bank is seeking a seasoned professional to spearhead strategic initiatives and broaden relationships with TMT corporate clients globally.
This role involves providing tailored financial solutions, delivering exceptional client service, and driving revenue growth. You will be expected to have a deep understanding of the TMT industry with strong client relationships, proven ability to identify market opportunities, and conceptualize ideas that turn into deal origination and execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Originate corporate and investment banking business across TMT sectors, focusing on Telecommunications and Digital Infrastructure.
- Lead the execution of mandates covering various product offerings, including Structured Finance, Debt Capital Markets, Equity Capital Markets & M&A Advisory, Transaction Banking, Supply Chain Finance, and Treasury.
- Supervise and prepare financial models with P&L, balance sheet, and cash-flow projections based on sound business and market assumptions.
- Ensure timely submission of proposals and meet deal execution timelines.
- Mentor junior bankers in origination, technical, and execution skills.
Requirements
- Degree holder in Finance, Economics, or related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in corporate & investment banking, involving loan syndication, debt capital markets, equity capital markets, and merger & acquisition advisory related transactions.
- Good knowledge and experience in TMT, with a focus on Telecom and Digital Infrastructure covering Southeast Asia and North Asian markets.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in leading deal teams for origination and execution.
- Results-oriented, resourceful, and strong business connections for identifying and developing business opportunities.
- Develop business strategies and maintain discipline in planning daily activities to support the Global TMT team's strategic directions.
- Strong credit and financial analytical skills, with experience in industry research.
Benefits and Requirements
This role offers a competitive salary range of $240,000 - $300,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, as well as opportunities for career growth and professional development.
