Job Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Investment Risk Manager to oversee and analyze the performance and risk of portfolios and funds. The incumbent will provide independent analysis and management of investment risks, conduct risk-return analyses on portfolios and funds, and assist in developing and reviewing the governance framework.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Candidates should hold an MSc degree in a technical discipline (Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics) and possess good analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills, with CFA/FRM certifications being a plus
- Minimum 12 years of proven multi-asset portfolio risk, performance, and attribution experience, with direct experience with one or more private assets (private equity, venture capital, real estate, private credit)
- Working knowledge of the relevant regulatory environment and related requirements
- Working knowledge of widely used risk and performance systems, BRS Aladdin and Bloomberg being a considerable plus
- Hands-on programming experience in Python/R together with commonly used data manipulation libraries (e.g., Pandas in Python, Tydiverse packages in R), with statistical analysis/data science being strongly preferred, and hands-on experience with databases being an advantage
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to translate complex risk information to diverse audiences
- Pro-active and team-oriented aptitude
