Power Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Power Engineer to join our team.
We are looking for a qualified Power Engineer who can provide excellent service and support in the field of power distribution and electrical services.
The successful candidate will have strong technical skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment and possess excellent communication skills.
About the Role:
- Manage and maintain the power and electrical services system so as to ensure that the safety, reliability and availability of such services meet all regulatory requirements.
- Evaluate and implement maintenance contracts inclusive of certifying outsourced maintenance contractor's work, invoices, purchase orders and variation orders.
- Procure all necessary tools, spares and services pertaining to the system operation, including conducting obsolescence studies and implementing follow-up plans.
- Ensure safe work conditions and access for main line and depot maintenance activities.
- Participate in testing and commissioning of equipment, ensuring proper functionality and adherence to specifications.
- Supervise project initiatives and modification tasks, including detailed planning, execution and monitoring to ensure compliance to specifications and objectives.
Requirements
- Possess a Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized University/Polytechnic.
- Preferably at least 5 years of practical experience in power distribution and electrical services, preferably in a rail transportation environment.
- Fresh graduates may also apply.
