Life Sciences Attorney Job Description

We are seeking a talented Life Sciences Attorney to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our business.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in life sciences and a proven track record of success in a legal setting. You will be responsible for leading data protection aspects of clinical trials, assessing study protocols for privacy issues, reviewing CTAs, ICFs, and privacy policies, drafting data protection agreements, and researching legal issues.

  • Lead the data protection aspects of clinical trials from start to finish.
  • Assess study protocols for privacy issues.
  • Review CTAs, ICFs, and privacy policies.
  • Draft data protection agreements, addenda, and amendments.
  • Research legal issues and compose legal opinions/memoranda.
  • Write clinical trials, GCP, and privacy law related articles and blog posts.
  • Assist in the development of in-house legal templates.
  • Contribute to the development of internal procedures and methodologies.
Requirements
  • A license to practice law (active and in good standing) in your jurisdiction.
  • At least three years of work experience as an attorney.
  • An interest in privacy and technology.
  • A team player, interested in contributing to a growing enterprise.
  • Strong writing/editing skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work remotely.
  • Willingness to learn new skills and receive direction and feedback from partners.
  • Willingness to pursue privacy certifications (e.g., CIPP/E, CIPM).
