KAIMAY TRADING PTE. LTD. is seeking a highly skilled Merchandising Sales Specialist to join our team.

Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced sales professional to manage our retail partnerships and drive business growth through effective merchandising strategies.

About the Role:

  • Build Relationships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers to ensure seamless communication and effective collaboration.
  • Stock Management: Implement FIFO (First In, First Out) stock rotation and regularly check near-expired stock to minimize returns and maximize inventory turnover.
  • Sales Performance: Achieve agreed sales targets set by the company while maintaining a positive attitude and high level of professionalism.
  • Inventory Optimization: Monitor and recommend optimal stock levels to retailers to avoid stockouts or overstocking, ensuring efficient inventory management.
  • Basics Selling Procedures: Understand and execute basic selling procedures effectively, meeting customer needs while driving sales growth.
  • Payment Processes: Manage payment processes and comply with the company's payment policy, maintaining transparency and integrity.
  • Itinerary Execution: Follow the assigned itinerary and ensure all allocated outlets are serviced daily, delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Quality Services: Deliver professional and quality sales and after-sales services, exceeding customer expectations.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with retailers regarding trade activities and mechanics, fostering strong relationships and mutual understanding.
  • Feedback: Provide feedback on sales/operational issues, competitors' promotions/pricing, and market sentiments, contributing to business growth and improvement.

Requirements:

  • Certification: Hold a GCE 'N' Level Certificate or equivalent, demonstrating academic excellence.
  • Experience: Possess at least 2-3 years of experience in General Trade (e.g., Mini Marts & Provision Shops) or Modern Trade (e.g., Supermarkets and Convenience Stores), showcasing sales expertise.
  • Work Pressure: Ability to work under pressure, handling multiple tasks and priorities while maintaining composure.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication and customer service skills, ensuring effective interactions with retailers and customers.
  • Independence: Ability to work independently with a positive attitude, taking initiative and ownership of responsibilities.
  • Licensing: Possess own motorcycle and a valid Class 1 driving license, facilitating travel to various locations.

  • Microsoft Office: Proficient in Microsoft Office, utilizing tools for sales and inventory management.
  • Aftersales: Offer aftersales services, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Visual Merchandising: Implement visual merchandising strategies to enhance store displays and increase sales.
  • Inventory Management: Effectively manage inventory, minimizing waste and maximizing efficiency.
  • Selling Strategies: Develop and execute selling strategies, driving sales growth and revenue.
  • Driving License: Possess a valid Class 1 driving license, enabling travel to various locations.

Salary: The estimated salary for this role is SGD 40,000 - 60,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
