We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Analyst to join our Asia ex-Japan Cash Equity Trades Processing team. As an Operations Analyst, you will be responsible for providing operational support for Agency Trading desks, ensuring transactions are booked accurately, and investigating and resolving trade exceptions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide operational support for Agency Trading desks, including trades allocation and confirmations processing for institutional clients trading in Asia ex-Japan equity markets.
  • Ensure transactions are booked accurately and investigate and resolve all trade exceptions and manage queries within the agreed SLAs.
  • Identify, report, and escalate issues in a timely manner.
  • Adhere to control procedures, identify risk gaps, and ensure controls are implemented to close those gaps.
  • Build and maintain relationships with the trading desks, clients, and other Operation teams.

About the Role:

This is an intense, fast-paced role that requires associates to be focused, detail-oriented, and calm under pressure. The associates interact continuously with internal counterparties such as trading desks and Settlements as well as externally with clients.

What You Will Do:

As an Operations Analyst, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing operational support for Agency Trading desks.
  • Ensuring transactions are booked accurately.
  • Investigating and resolving trade exceptions.
  • Managing queries within the agreed SLAs.
  • Identifying, reporting, and escalating issues in a timely manner.
  • Adhering to control procedures and identifying risk gaps.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with the trading desks, clients, and other Operation teams.
