Macro Strategist/Squawker Position

We are seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Macro Strategist/Squawker in Asia. The successful candidate will be responsible for translating news into actionable markets insights, broadcasting over our audio squawk channel, and contributing written analysis across asset classes.

The ideal candidate will have a keen grasp of financial markets, the ability to instantly recognize market-moving news, and strong analytical skills to identify underlying dynamics. They will also have experience writing under pressure and a clear, articulate voice in English.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Exercise excellent news judgment
  • Broadcast relevant headlines and insightful market updates over our squawk audio channel
  • Produce macro markets analysis for our blog with authority and flair in English
  • Identify underlying themes and shifts in global markets
  • Have a strong work ethic and ability to operate calmly under pressure
Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of recent experience as a trader, markets strategist, or in a financial journalist/analyst role
  • Proven experience writing or broadcasting in English about markets via published research material or distributed daily commentary
  • Established experience working within a team in an international company
  • Fluency in both spoken and written English
  • Demonstrated continuous career growth within an organization
  • Bachelor's degree or degree-equivalent qualifications
