Our organization seeks a Pricing Analyst to conduct thorough market research and analysis of global logistics industry trends, forecasts, and risk factors. The successful candidate will focus on Ocean Shipping and Airfreight sectors, providing strategic market intelligence and insights to support management decisions and freight forwarding operations.

This role involves analyzing and interpreting market data to produce regular reports highlighting logistics trends and developments. As a Pricing Analyst, you will participate in customer meetings alongside Commercial and Procurement/Pricing teams to present the latest market conditions in Ocean and Airfreight logistics.

The ideal candidate will provide competitive analysis and deliver market forecasts to inform strategy formulation and business planning. You will also facilitate knowledge sharing by conducting training sessions and seminars for internal teams.

">Required Skills & Qualifications">
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, International Trade, Maritime Studies, Operations Research, Supply Chain, or Logistics Management is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience in market intelligence, strategic analysis, or business planning within the global logistics, shipping, or airfreight industry is required.
  • Prior experience in a global freight forwarding company with proven expertise in market trend analysis and strategy development is beneficial.
  • Strong understanding of logistics market dynamics, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities is essential.
  • Skilled in interpreting logistics indexes and managing data for market insights and analysis is a must.
  • Financially savvy with the ability to assess cost structures and ROI for logistics operations is required.
  • Excellent analytical, research, and data reporting capabilities are necessary.
  • Familiarity with data visualization and analysis tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms is advantageous.
  • Proactive and analytical mindset capable of identifying issues and driving resolutions independently is essential.
  • Goal-oriented thinker with the ability to conceptualize and deliver on strategic objectives is required.
  • Self-driven and hands-on approach capable of seizing opportunities and achieving measurable outcomes is beneficial.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong sense of urgency and commitment to high standards is necessary.
  • Demonstrates high integrity, ownership, and accountability in professional responsibilities is required.
