Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced retail professional to join our team as an Assistant Retail Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support daily store operations, including rostering, sales, incentives, staff training, delegating stock checks, and warehouse deliveries.
  • Manage sales performance, P&L, and setting of performance objectives monthly, weekly, and daily. Plan, evaluate, and optimize operations to be efficient and cost-effective.
  • Set visual merchandising plans, provide commercial guidance to store teams, and ensure brand image consistency across all stores.
  • Merchandise new releases with the production team and warehouse to ensure timely availability.
  • Recruit, train, and conduct regular performance appraisals.
  • Manage human resources issues, partner with HR when necessary, and ensure payroll integrity.
  • Manage internal and external stakeholder relationships and explore business opportunities.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, enhance the customer loyalty program, and maintain high return customer rates.
  • Oversee events on-site, liaise with vendors, execute event set-up, and support event operations.

This role will progress within the group, overseeing wider business areas, including digital strategy, e-commerce sales, marketing, and communications.
