The Hotel Operations Manager is a key role within our organization, responsible for overseeing the smooth day-to-day running of hotel operations. This includes focusing on guest satisfaction, staff performance, and operational efficiency.
This position requires strong leadership skills, as well as attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. The ideal candidate will be able to motivate and develop staff, while also ensuring that high standards of quality and service are maintained.
The Hotel Operations Manager will be responsible for supervising front office, concierge, reservations, and bell services, ensuring efficient check-in/check-out processes and guest satisfaction. They will also handle guest feedback and complaints, monitoring guest satisfaction scores and driving improvement plans.
In addition, the Hotel Operations Manager will oversee housekeeping operations, ensuring rooms and public areas are cleaned to brand standards and maintained properly. They will coordinate with maintenance/engineering teams to ensure all equipment and facilities are in good working condition.
Other responsibilities include leading, mentoring, and developing department heads and line staff, conducting regular performance reviews and implementing training programs. The Hotel Operations Manager will also assist in preparation and management of departmental budgets and forecasts, monitoring and controlling operating expenses.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a managerial role within the hospitality industry, with strong knowledge of front office, housekeeping, and maintenance operations. They will also possess excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
