Job Title: Senior Manager, Research Office

About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Senior Manager to join our Research Office team. This is a critical role in advancing our School's position as a leading hub for computing research.

The successful candidate will provide high-level administrative support to the Vice Dean of Research and contribute to strategic planning and implementation of processes that enhance and support research.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and execution of strategic initiatives to enhance research visibility and impact.
  • Coordinate and prepare research proposals, agreements, and project reports to partners and funding bodies, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and laws.
  • Manage and mentor a team of administrators, fostering a collaborative and goal-oriented environment that promotes excellence in research support services.
  • Ensure the quality and integrity of research practices, maintaining confidentiality and discretion when dealing with sensitive information.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor's Degree from a recognized university, preferably with prior experience in executive or academic administration.
  • Strong understanding of university governance, organizational structure, and current trends in higher education, enabling effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
